1971-1975  
Art teacher in a secondary school – Shotton Hall Comprehensive, Peterlee, England
1972
"Works", exhibition with M. Johnson, Sculptor, at Royalty Theatre Foyer, Sunderland
1976  
Solo Exhibition  "Artist in Fantasy Land", at the L.Y.C. Museum and Art Gallery, Banks, Cumbria, England
1978
Joint exhibition: "Pastoral Theme", Gough Bros Gallery, Bognor Regis, Sussex,  England.
Nov 1978 - July1979 
Stay in India and Sri Lanka.
Dec 1979 - June 1981 Stay in Spain (English Teacher, Inlingua, Palma de Mallorca).

Aug 1981 - Feb 1982 
Stay in India where I married my French Canadian girlfriend I'd met in Mallorca and who became the mother of my children.

June 1984 Production of a series of pen and ink drawings commissioned by Libreria Ripoll, Palma de Mallorca.
Aug 1984 - Nov 1985 Return to England (English teacher, Folkestone, Kent, England).
Nov 1985 - April 1986 
Stay in Gran Canaria (English teacher, Inlingua, Playa del Ingles).
May 1986 -Aug 1989  
Return to England, Professional activities divided between teaching and painting, Folkestone, Kent, England
